An extraordinary collector’s piece created in collaboration with the late, legendary British photographer Terry O’Neill, our Goddesses backgammon board features candid black-and-white portraits of some of the most glamorous women in history.
Working with Terry on this backgammon set was the greatest honour. The way he made his subjects feel completely at ease in his presence is so clear to see in these iconic images of his goddesses.

One of the world’s most collected photographers, the iconic images of Terry O’Neill CBE are displayed in national art galleries and private collections worldwide. He pioneered the concept of celebrity culture as he travelled the world with his camera, working at the frontline of fame for more than six decades.
Alexandra spent time with O’Neill choosing the images that would appear on the backgammon board from his archive of photographs spanning more than half a century. Featuring stars from throughout the eras, Terry’s Goddesses include Bridget Bardot, Raquel Welch, Ursula Andress, Goldie Hawn, Jean Shrimpton, Audrey Hepburn and Twiggy.
A very personal detail stamps O’Neill’s signature upon this limited-edition backgammon set: his fingerprint, taken from the legendary finger responsible for operating the camera, engraved in the side of the walnut dice shakers.
Presented with a beautifully grained Macassar Ebony wood doubling cube, the accompanying semi-precious red jasper and mother-of-pearl playing pieces are debossed on their leather bases to resemble a camera shutter.
A limited series of just 20 backgammon boards, engraved with the edition number and Terry O’Neill’s signature, the photographer’s iconic black and white imagery is digitally printed with stunning clarity and definition upon the board by a printer who specialises in high-quality fine art reproductions.
