Taking the concept of Alexandra’s convertible games tables and translating it into a tabletop format, the limited-edition Celestial Chess, Backgammon & Draughts Games Set exclusive to The Vault by Robb Report features two marquetry playing surfaces, one for playing chess and draughts, the other for backgammon. Meticulously inlaid by hand into each board to create a striking midnight-blue backdrop, the marquetry detailing extends around the outer box, with mother of pearl emulating the effect of moonlight bouncing off the clouds that float in the night sky.

Can you keep a secret?

Alexandra’s master joiner is an expert at incorporating hidden surprises within a seemingly simple wooden box. Incorporating two secret compartments, one of which contains a key to lock both, they are so well hidden that discovering them is no easy feat. The perfect hiding place for treasured memories and keepsakes, hunting out these cleverly concealed compartments is just one of the many joys of ownership.
